The Singer 66 (big brother to the Singer 99) was the first mass produced sewing machine, that produced a near perfect stitch. When sewing well the 66 will out-sew nearly any modern machine through a huge variety of fabrics from linen to lace, horse blankets to buckram. It is simply near perfect engineering. This one really is sewing well, it has a beautiful smooth action and a superb stitch! With its large clearance and working area, it is as capable as they come.
The machine comes with lots of extras including original case and key, needles, thread, Singer attachment box, plenty of attachments, original instructions spare bobbins, Singer threader (with it’s own original instructions!) and plenty more, don’t forget the signed books! see pictures. A few of the usual tiny pin marks but in exceptional condition with original decals. Stunning machine – and AN ORIGINAL HAND CRANK! Made in the Kilbowie factory in Clydebank, Scotland.
