The “Automatic” (the ‘A’ in the prefix of the serial number) – Silent sewing machine.
This is a beautiful Willcox & Gibbs chain stitch, single thread sewing machine circa 1880 with stitch length adjustment and professionally serviced by Sussex Sewing Machines. It is stitch perfect and fantastic.

This machine makes an identical stitch to the civil war era models so if you are doing reenactments and want original stitching, this great W&G sewing machine is perfect!
Along with this fantastic W&G, you will also get a signed copy of the ‘Willcox & Gibbs’ book from the Sewing Machine Pioneer Series by Alex Askaroff.
