Stunning Singer 99K built at the very beginning of World War One!
This beautiful Singer 99k hand crank sewing machine built in 1914 is in full perfect working order and professionally serviced by Sussex Sewing Machines. It is stitch perfect and beautiful.
Many say that the Singer model 99 (the little sister to the Singer 66 Lotus/Redeye) was the first great portable sewing machine. It came out around 1911 and was so perfect it remained hardly changed until 1960. This beauty has all the hallmarks of a well loved and cared for machine. It was made at the great Singer factory on the banks of the River Clyde in Kilbowie, Scotland.
This special machine is from the Sewalot Collection!
Along with this fantastic Singer 99k, you will receive a signed copy of the ‘Isaac Singer – The First Capitalist’ book by Alex Askaroff.
The machine comes with lots of extras including beautiful case, key, instructions, thread, bobbins, needles as well as attachments and tools, see pictures. A few of the usual tiny pin marks but in superb condition. Fantastic machine.
This stylish black base and case 99k will be an amazing addition to any collection and is in FANTASTIC CONDITION!
